Research Abstract |
Na+, K+-ATPaseα3-isoform(α3NaK) is abnormally expressed in various types of human cancer cells.α3NaK is not localized in plasma membrane, but in intracellular vesicles in which rab10 is present. In vitro and in vivo studies using human and mouse cancer cells showed thatα3NaK may be involved in the mechanisms of cancer cell survival and growth.
