Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
As main objective of this research is to investigate the impact of air pollution from vegetation fire event on adverse health outcomes, I have included the research achievements of the previous fiscal year as follow. The dataset for health outcomes (Mortality data) and simulated air pollution from burning were obtained from the providers and well cleaned up for the analyses. However, the data of morbidity (hospital admission) are processing and prepare to provide from the Ministry of Public Health Thailand. According to this situation, I have developed the model using the existing data. The preliminary results of mortality and air pollution from fires were obtained from the robust model. These preliminary results will be presented in the international conferrence (abstract was submitted).

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
To answer the specific objective, the data of morbidity is required. However, these dataset is accessing and processing from the provider.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
After obtaining the completed dataset, the full analysis will be conducted to compare the risk of air pollution from vegetation fire with mortality and morbidity. These will be used to estimate the health burden attributable to air pollution from fire events, which could be benefit for policy making to seek the appropriate measures in the future.
All findings will be included in the munuscript and prepare for publication.

Causes of Carryover |
The budget will be used for travel expense of the international conference and publication.
