Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は最終年度であるため、これまでの成果の取りまとめを行った。昨年度までに得られた実験結果を解析するため、大規模計算コードの開発を行った。プラズマ粒子シミュレーションを新たに開発し、さらに大規模クラスタ上で動かすためにMPIベースのOh!Helpという並列化ライブラリを組み込み、本研究体系で想定されるシミュレーション条件に最適な条件の見積もりを行った。その結果、8000ノード以上でのクラスタでシミュレーションを動かすことに成功し、実験の解析を行なった。それらの成果をPhys. Plasma誌、Plasma Phys. Control. Fusion誌、Nature Commun.誌、Phys. Rev. E誌などに掲載するに至った。またこれらの成果はイギリスで行われた国際高速点火会議、新潟で行われたPlasma Conference 2014、滋賀で行われた高速点火日米ワークショップなどで報告し、本研究成果を広く知らしめた。
