Research Abstract |
In this research project, an efficient presentation scheme of acoustic information based on 3-D environmental recognition has been developed. Specifically, the following research items are tackled. 1) an improvement of space recognition accuracy by frame interpolation, 2) a human object recognition scheme utilizing distance information, 3) a ray-tracing based acoustic information rendering scheme, and 4) a VLSI design of embedded interface controler LSI. By integrating these hardware IPs with an ambient cognitive wireless communication platform, we can enable a practical implementation of an environment-friendly media processing noode.
