Research Abstract |
Global palaeo-oceanic environmental changes may lead the mother of mass extinction in latest Palaeozoic. To understand this environment, radiolarian Albaillellid sizes, chemical analysis and lithostratigraphy were examined in the same radiolarian bedded chert section, comprehensively. Remarkable correspondence was not found between cheminal components and the fluctuation of radiolarian mean test sizes. Chemostratigraphy revealed the Neoalbaillella optima assemblage zone and the range of Albaillella triangularis are an interval of comparatively oxic-environment.
