Research Abstract |
What this research revealed was that, while there are more and more mentally impaired people who desire to be engaged in the teleworking, the level of the social recognition on them as the candidates is still low, and despite some pioneering programs, the supporating methods are still in experimental phase. The immediate solution that can be realized is to clarify the positioning of the registered supporting organizations for the support system of the teleworking for the mentally-impaired, and to ensure they get at least the same level of financial backups as social welfare organizations. And furthermore, the need for 'traffic control' body to coordinate social welfare groups of the community. Employment and Life Support Center for the Handicapped is an organization that should provide coordination of medical, educational and social welfare and employment organizations and comprehensive support for the handicapped, and we should enhance their capability to carry out this role.
