Research Abstract |
Assistive technologies (ATs) have been used to support academic success of students with disabilities in the educational activities (e.g., reading, writing, calculating and memorization) among the United States and some European countries. Students with specific learning disabilities and brain injury, who have limitations in their specific higher cognitive functions, might need ATs for the fuctional limitations. I conducted researches regarding matching between assitive technolgies and the functional limitations, assessment for the limitation and effect of ATs, provision of AT products and educational contents used with ATs in classroom as reasonable accommodation.
