Research Abstract

We have developed the Chevrel phase sulfides as new thermoelectric materials. The host structure of a Chevrel phase sulfides consists of stacked molybdenum(Mo) and sulfur (S) clusters. The thermoelectric properties of sintered compacts of K_<3.0>Mo_6S_6
