| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
健康寿命延伸の最大の障壁の一つである生活習慣病の発症・重症化予防には生活習慣改善が必須である。日本ほど健診が普及している国は少ないにも関わらず、それが必ずしも生活習慣病抑制に結びついていないことが指摘されている。また過去の膨大な蓄積データも十分に活用されていない。本研究は、現場における生活習慣病の予防・治療に実効性のある包括的・具体的な生活習慣改善指導を実現するため、①日本人を対象にした、②関係領域の学際融合による、③前向き研究に基づく、科学的エビデンスを確立することを目的としている。そのため生活習慣病未発症者から患者、リスク評価から実践介入を系統的に網羅する以下のサブプロジェクトを推進してきた。すなわち [1] 各種生活習慣病の危険因子と治療法に関する定量的メタアナリシス、[2] 若年者における運動習慣の効用に関するコホート研究、[3] 若年者における食習慣の影響に関するコホート研究、[4]生活習慣を考慮したより効率的な生活習慣病スクリーニング法の開発、[5]生活習慣病患者における合併症予防に関わる因子の解明、[6] 高齢者の健康寿命延伸のための生活習慣改善エビデンスの確立、[7] 生活習慣・健康科学情報リテラシー確立のための方策の検討である。本年度も書くプロジェクトについては、本報告書別欄にまとめられた多くの国際誌掲載論文や国際学会発表などが得られ、わが国の生活習慣病学の発展に寄与することができたと考えている。
