Outline of Final Research Achievements

We reinvestigated "Sugaura Documents", an important cultural property held in the archival museum, faculty of economics Shiga University and analyzed the total of 407 documents . Besides, we constructed a datebase concerning the articles and books of the Sugaura Documents and opened to the public of it. We also conducted field survey in Sugaura, Nishiazai-cho, Nagahama-shi, Shiga and took pictures of the historical records digitally . In 2015, the last year of the project, we held an exhibition of "Sugaura document" and related documents at the archival museum, hosting a lecture and a symposium. In result, we published the 18 articles during the project.
