| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
三波川変成帯のエクロジャイトと関連する変成岩について，原岩の形成から変成作用を経て，上昇に至るまでの全体像を明らかにする事を目的に研究を実施した．また，比較研究対象としてキルギス・マクバル，モンゴル・レーク帯等の変成岩の岩石学的，地質年代学的研究をあわせて行った．
１）四国東部高越－眉山地域，中央部別子地域の瀬場谷変斑れい岩体，瀬場エクロジャイト質塩基性片岩，東平変斑れい岩体等の地質調査と岩石試料の採取を行った．
２）眉山地域のざくろ石藍閃石片岩，瀬場エクロジャイト質塩基性片岩，東平変斑れい岩（ざくろ石藍晶石角閃岩）について，THERMOCALCおよびシュードセクション解析を併用して，精度の高い変成P-T経路（昇温，ピーク，降温経路）の解析を行った．三波川変成岩との比較検討のためキルギス，モンゴル，中国，スリランカ，南極等の変成岩のP-T経路の解析を行った．
３）上記変成岩類及び三波川変成岩の原岩と考えられる四万十帯堆積岩中の砕屑性ジルコンについて，K-Ar法，微小領域U-Pb法，FT法による年代測定を実施し，結果の出たものについては変成岩岩石学的成果とあわせて地質学的意義とテクトニクスを議論した．
４）以上の研究により三波川変成帯には2回のエクロジャイト相に達する変成作用が存在したことが確認された．1回目のエクロジャイト変成作用はより低温高圧条件を示し，エクロジャイトはローソン石やひすい輝石を伴うことがある．この低温高圧タイプのエクロジャイトは高越－眉山地域に顕著に出現する．
・主要な研究成果を日本地球惑星連合大会（横浜），日本地質学会（鹿児島），鉱物科学会（熊本），日本地質学会西日本支部（松山）等において発表した．三波川帯高圧型変成岩をはじめ，キルギス・マクバル，モンゴル・レーク帯，中国黒竜江コンプレックス等の変成岩に関する論文を印刷公表した．
