| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research focuses on degree modification and verbal aspect, especially telicity. First, it classifies degree adverbials identifying degree of state based on their possibility of quantity modification and the scalar structure of their modifees. Secondly, I discuss the way how adverbial numeral quantifiers delimit the events described by dynamic predicates. Finally, I propose the nature of numeral quantifiers in order to account for quantity modification.
