Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study analyzed global strategy of Korean and Japanese firms in terms of organizational capabilities and organization/product architecture framework. Successful Japanese global firms in emerging markets adopt a set of business strategies that effectively sense the target market needs and apply their technology capability to utilize component parts provided by local suppliers in the target market regions. As an architecture strategy, it is considered that Japanese firms make full use of open-integral architecture strategy, but Korean firms focus on open-modular architecture strategy.
