Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research project consisted of a series of experimental studies about the problems in practicing the assessment of higher brain dysfunction. The main results are as follows: (1)We provided the reference data about the intermanual difference scores of Japanese university students for five neuropsychological tasks. (2)We assessed the relationship between self-rated right-left confusability and the scores of the Money Road-Map Test. The high-confusability participants were less accurate and slower than the low-confusability participants in the MRMT. (3)We demonstrated that the testing effect also occurs in the elderly using Rey Complex Figure Test.(4)We have reported the basic data about the characteristics of the false reaction in typical attention and memory tests. (5)We have established the basic experimental methods for the presentation of tickling stimulus and evaluation of the titillation.
