Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation plays important roles in stress responses of extra- and intra-cellular environment. In this study, we analyzed the regulation of protein degradation in stress responses using budding yeast and chloroplast. The results indicate that UBL-UBA protein Dsk2 is involved in salt stress, Gtr1-Gtr2 complex is involved in nutrient stress, and FtsH-thylakoid structure is involved in D1 degradation in chloroplast.
