Outline of Annual Research Achievements

放射線治療装置を用いた診断用キロボルト（kV）エックス線と治療用メガボルト(MV)エックス線の投影像を使ったDual Energy CT再構成により、電子密度だけでなく有効原子番号を推定するアルゴリズムを開発した。kVエックス線による線減弱係数とMVエックス線による線減弱係数をそれぞれのエネルギースペクトルから決定し、その値を真値として校正用ファントムにより再構成画像に対する線減弱係数の校正曲線を求めた。検証用ファントムでは、最大誤差8%以内で有効原子番号が再現された。本結果は国内学会で発表済みであり、今後論文としてまとめる予定である。
また、kVエックス線とMVエックス線の投影像を使ったCTによる臓器位置照合システムの開発を行った。kVエックス線を利用した臓器位置照合システムでは、体輪郭全体を描像可能とする逐次的な再構成アルゴリズムの開発を行った。MVエックス線を利用した臓器位置照合システムでは、ヘリカル型の治療装置を用いて、治療中に撮像されたデータを用いた再構成アルゴリズムを開発した。後者については、論文として発表済み（4A. Haga et al., “Reconstruction of the treatment area by use of sinogram in helical tomotherapy”, Radiation Oncology, 9:252, (2014).）であり、前者についても論文としてまとめているところである。
