Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study was made to clarify the management system of ancient national factories in Japan based on a survey of the ancient mint at Nagato prefecture (known as "Nagato Chusenshi" or "Nagato Jusenshi") and other ancient factories in Japan by historical and archaeological methods. In conclusion, this study has demonstrated that any ancient national factory in Japan has general system to manage workers.
