Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Intratracheal instillation of indium oxide successfully caused indium lung in mice. Lung tissues of mice with indium lung revealed feature of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis. Comprehensive analyses of gene expression by RNA-Seq exhibited that the markers for interstitial abnormalities were expressed in indium exposed mice group. These results may provide a clue for the therapeutic development of indium lung. The indium mice model developed by intratracheal instillation method contributes the proceeding of future research in indium lung.
