Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

ナノ構造を活用した光の「負の屈折現象」に着目し、従来困難であった円盤上の物体の位置や姿勢の制御を可能とすること、更に、その応用として巨視的である光バネ振動子の運動に非古典的なもつれ状態が生成することを検証する本研究は、挑戦的であるとともに、光圧アクチュエータの基礎・応用の両面にとって重要な知見を与える。
