Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

ホモトピー法について、精度保証付きかつ低い計算コストで検証する応用を考えている。有限次元は丸め誤差制御、無限次元は定量的な値として算出を可能とし、近似解を高精度かつ精度保証付きで得る手法を提案する独創的なもので、かつ前提となる理論はすでに応募者によって得られている具体性のある提案となっている。工学的には数値計算の品質保証、理学的には解の存在証明を与える試みとなることが期待される。
