Outline of Annual Research Achievements

高効率な光エネルギー変換において、紫外から近赤外におよぶ太陽光の広いスペクトル領域を利用可能にすることと、光照射により生じる電荷分離を効率よく進行させることは非常に重要である。本研究では半導体光触媒による水素発生触媒の高効率化を目指しており、研究最終年度においては、近赤外光までの光を吸収可能な黒リン(BP)と高速な電荷移動が可能な二酸化チタンメソ結晶(TMC)を複合化し、さらにPtナノ粒子で修飾することで(BP NS/Pt (3wt %)/TMC )、紫外から近赤外までの光で作動可能な水素発生光触媒の構築した。BP NS/Pt (3wt %)/TMCに対し420 nm以上の可視および近赤外光を照射すると1.9 μmol h-1の水素発生が確認され、また、780 nm以上の近赤外光照射下では0.41 μmol h-1の水素発生が確認されたことより、BP NS/Pt (3wt %)/TMC により可視および近赤外光による水素発生活性が示された。光電気化学的測定ならびにフェムト秒拡散反射測定より、光照射による高速な電荷分離および界面での高速な電荷移動が示されたことより、本触媒系の高効率な活性がメカニズム的にも支持された。さらにこれらの測定より、BPの厚さを減らすことで、電荷分離が高速化することが示され、高効率な触媒構築の指針が得られた。
さらに今年度は水素発生活性を有するグラフィティックカーボンナイトリド(g-C3N4)について検討を行い、N欠陥の導入により可視光応答性を向上させることに成功するとともに、焼成時にCO2雰囲気を導入することで可視光照射時の水素発生効率が上昇することなどを見出した。
また、多孔性ZnIn2S4にNiS微粒子を修飾することで可視光応答水素発生光触媒を構築し、420 nm以上の光照射により5.0 μmolh-1の活性を確認した。
