Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study has two purposes. First, a content analysis of Japanese television news coverage during the London Olympics. Second, a comparison of the London Olympics period with the Beijing Olympic Period. We presented that a content analysis of Japanese television news coverage during the London Olympics at the Musashi Sociological Society in 2014, and appeared in The Sociologist No.15.In addition, we presented that a comparison of the London Olympics period with the Beijing Olympic Period at the 23rd Conference of the European Association for Sport Management: EASM2015. Through achievement of these two purposes, we obtain knowledge of the news frames international coverage of Japanese television news coverage.
