Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to build expertise in offering support to Deaf and hard of hearing to examine the many problems that they encounter in daily life I conducted research and studied along with social workers. The purpose of the study is to understand the “cultural model approach,” which is useful to gauge social workers’ the strength perspective of their intervention. The results are as follows. 1. A theoretical framework for Deaf culture and a “cultural model approach, which was effective,” was created based on the same. 2. The “cultural model approach” is an easy intervention for social workers having the strength perspective to understand Deaf and hard of hearing people. 3. The clarification in the differences the “cultural model approach” and their characteristics and creation of a theoretical framework for this approach was done.
