原始惑星系円盤内のダスト・ガス・化学進化：汎惑星形成論と太陽系内物質起源の検証

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、近年の太陽系外惑星の発見と原始惑星系円盤研究の進展を背景に、観測と詳細モデルの比較による円盤内ダスト・ガス・化学進化の検証、ひいては系外惑星形成を含めた汎惑星形成論の検証と太陽系内物質の起源解明を目指す。

H28年度は(A)塵表面反応を含めた化学反応計算に基づいて観測提案を行い、実際にALMA望遠鏡を用いて円盤からのメタノール輝線を初検出した。観測されたメタノールは円盤外縁の低温領域に存在し、また、メタノールと水の比は彗星のものと一致していた。これは理論予測の通り、塵表面で生成されたメタノールが光脱離した結果と考えられる。本研究により、円盤内における塵表面反応の観測的検証の可能性が示された。(B)化学反応計算と輻射輸送計算に基づき、円盤からの水輝線の高分散観測によりスノーラインを検出する手法を提案した。アインシュタイン係数が小さく、かつ励起準位のエネルギーが数百～千度程度の遷移線が最も適していることを示した。適切な遷移線は中間赤外線からサブミリ波にかけて多数存在し、ALMA、および将来的にはSPICAによる統計的観測が期待される。(C)円盤内ギャップのような密度変化にともなうロスビー波不安定性の線形解析を、幅広いパラメータ範囲の密度変化に対して行った。計算結果をもとにロスビー波の物理的性質を考察し、普遍的な不安定条件を導いた。ALMAで観測されている三日月状の非軸対称構造への応用が期待される。(D) 輻射トルクによるダスト整列の最新の理論に基づき原始惑星系円盤内のダスト整列機構を調べた。その結果、従来の予想を覆し、特に長波長ではダストは磁場ではなく輻射場に対して整列することを示した。本研究は、ALMAや大型望遠鏡によるサブミリ波・中間赤外線での円盤偏光観測結果を解釈するうえで、非常に重要な役割を担う。

Reason

H28年度は、ALMA観測または将来の中間赤外線観測による原始惑星系円盤内の塵表面反応、スノーラインの位置、大規模な非軸対称構造、ダスト整列機構などの検証法に関する研究が進展した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

原始惑星系円盤からのCO同位体、硫黄含有分子、水分子のALMA観測データの解析に関する研究を進め、年齢の高い円盤の化学構造、円盤内氷微惑星蒸発、スノーラインの同定に関して議論する。また、若い星団内における近傍の大質量星からの紫外線に起因する光蒸発の円盤進化への影響に関する研究を進める。
