| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the present study, the promising candidate drugs were explored in view of depression and diabetes as preventive and therapeutic agents on the peripheral neuropathy induced by anti-cancer drugs.
We found that duloxetine and exenatide improved the oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy. Moreover, we found that polaprezinc reduced the paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy without affecting anti-tumor activity.
