Outline of Final Research Achievements

The 1930s, there was a erected boom of "Kinjiro statue" in the schoolyard across the country. In Shizuoka, Toyama and Fukushima, Kanagawa, Tochigi, Shimane, etc., let a look back the life to the children themselves, and to think of their own life improvement, the so-called "Hotoku education" had been created.
Especially Kanagawa Prefecture Fukuzawa elementary school, after the war, continued to research to focus the "independence" of the children, had been developed as a coursework theory and teaching theory of "discussion activities".
This study has clarified the reality of "Hotoku education".
