Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we interviewed the visiting nurses to survey the violence they received from clients and household members in order to improve the working environment of the visiting nurses. As a result, the cause of the violence the nurses experienced, and the situation how the violence occurred were revealed. And the effective method to deal with the violence was provided. We also conducted the hearing survey from the specialists in other fields such as law and police. In conclusion, it was suggested that the arrangement of the contract between the clients and visiting nursing stations, informed consents for the clients, and the training for visiting nurses were needed to prevent the violence from the clients.
