Scientific Significance and Expected Research Achievements

格子模様の変位をカメラによって観測するサンプリングモアレ法は、環境との力学的相互作用を介さないため、スケールが異なっても適用できる。そのメリットを生かし、大きさやニッチの異なるいろいろな種類の生物の計測に適用することで、生物計測に関する様々な知見が集まることが期待される。
