Outline of Final Research Achievements |
For synthesizing zeolite, a crystalline microporous material, hydrothermal synthesis has been widely used, and the obtained zeolite is widely utilized industrially as catalysts, adsorbents, ion exchangers, and so on. However, there are still many obstacles for synthesizing zeolites in industry, for example, high cost raw materials (organic structure directing agent, OSDA) and long synthesis time. In this research, we investigated each problem as a barrier for industrial production and developed several methods such as OSDA-free, OSDA-replacement, and ultra-fast synthesis methods.
