Outline of Annual Research Achievements

小脳疾患に伴う姿勢制御機能の変化のメカニズムを明らかにするため、1:下オリーブ核障害ラットの運動計測、2:障害ラットの制御系の評価、3:小脳疾患患者の運動計測及び解析を行い、以下の結果を得た。
[1:小脳障害ラットの運動解析] 下オリーブ核に障害を持つラットの2足直立動作をモーションキャプチャによって計測した。計測した直立動作から関節間の協調関係とパワースペクトラムに注目し、下オリーブ核障害に伴う動作の変化を調べた。その結果、関節間協調には障害による有意な変化は見られなかった。またパワースペクトラムは、1Hz程度に現れるゆっくりとした周期運動のピーク周波数が低下し、その周波数以下の動作が拡大することが分かった。
[2:障害ラットの制御系の評価] 上記変化がどのような制御系の変化によるものかを調べるため、力学モデルの同定によって制御ゲインを定量的に評価した。その結果、評価したいずれの制御ゲインもほぼ同じ割合で低下し、さらに健常ラットの制御系で制御入力を生成し、定数倍を行うと、障害ラットの動作が再現されることが分かった。以上から、下オリーブ核障害は個々の制御系ではなく、制御入力の生成後に筋活動を生成する過程で機能不全を生じることが分かった。
[3:小脳疾患患者の運動計測及び解析] 小脳疾患に伴う環境適応機能の低下の要因を明らかにするため、傾斜外乱を与えることのできる実験装置上に小脳疾患患者を直立させ、ゆっくりとした速度で傾斜を与えて反応を計測した。その結果、小脳疾患患者の重心は、傾斜後に大きな前後の振動を生じ、また健常者で見られた傾斜後の垂直直立状態への復帰が見られなかった。これらの動作と力学モデルを基に同定を行うことで、制御入力の低下を定量的に評価した。以上の結果、小脳疾患が速度及び積分制御機能に影響を与え、結果的に姿勢制御機能を低下させるという機能不全のプロセスが明らかになった。
