Outline of Final Research Achievements

Oxidative stress has been associated with arteriosclerosis. Serum levels of antibody to periodontal bacteria have been recognized to related with arteriosclerosis in adults. Moreover, the relationship among salivary antioxidant activity, cytokines, and periodontitis have been recognized.

The prevalence and causes of loosing teeth have been clarified in secondary remote islands in GOTO city. Maximum tongue pressure have been recognized to be associated with social networks, leisure activities and number of present teeth in cross sectional study.
