最終年度である本年度は、平成26（2014）年度～28（2016）年度にかけて、メンバー各自が行った調査・研究成果を報告する国際ワークショップ"Globalization of Indian Performing Arts in New Media Situation : Dynamics of Cultural Gyre"を、平成30（2018）年1月20日（土）・21日（日）の2日間にわたって京都大学で開催した。
ワークショップには、インド芸能を専門とする研究者2名（Dr. Rohan Krishnamurthy（RohanRhythm/ Ohlone College、アメリカ）、Dr. Prarthana Purkayastha (Royal Holloway, University of London、イギリス)）を招聘し、英語による9つの研究報告が行われた。インド芸能の現状と新しいメディア状況の関係、そこから生まれる環流現象の展開について、外部からの参加者も交えて活発な討論が展開された。また、南インドの太鼓ムリダンガム奏者でもあるDr. Krishnamurthyによるlecture performanceも同時に開催し、実際のパフォーマンスに触れる中でワークショップ参加者は議論を深めた。
平成30（2018）年3月には、この国際ワークショップでの研究報告を収録した英文のワークショップ報告集"International Workshop Globalization of Indian Performing Arts in New Media Situation: Dynamics of Cultural Gyre Workshop Proceedings"を刊行した。
