Outline of Final Research Achievements

Musical dialogue is a form of improvisational dialogue in Asian folk music, which have been influenced by the local history, place and traditions. This research investigates into how the musical dialogue in traditional Bhutanese folk music can be applied to discover new possibilities of using “dialogue” and “improvisation” in music education in Japanese schools.
