| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本年度はタイ国およびベトナム国において、研究協力者と共に合同調査を実施した。また、タイ国において現地研究者の教育の一環としてクラゲ類に関するワークショップを開催した。
タイ国では、ペチャッブリ他で調査を行い、大量発生するミノクラゲや箱虫類などのクラゲ類試料を採取し、ブラパ大学臨海研究施設において形態および遺伝子に関する解析を行った。ミノクラゲとビゼンクラゲに関して、室内飼育実験を実施し、ポリプ成長速度など生活史に関する知見を得ることに成功した。また、箱虫類については、形態学と分子生物学的研究により同国から2種の初出現記録が確認され、論文として公表した。ブラパ大学海洋科学研究所の施設等において、ブラパ大学、タイ国沿岸海洋資源局、日本学術振興会の共催による「タイにおけるクラゲ類の分類と飼育に関する国際ワークショップ」を開催し、クラゲ類の同定や飼育に関する講義と実習を行った。また、ブラパ大学の研究者1名を東海大学に招聘し、分子生物学的な解析を実施した他、水族館において飼育に関する指導を行った。
ベトナム国では、昨年度同様ニャチャン周辺海域でクラゲ類、クシクラゲ類の採集を実施し、知見の少ない同海域におけるクラゲ相を明らかにした。特に、移入種について形態学的解析に加えて、遺伝子解析等を実施し、結果を公表予定である。
前年度フィリピン国パワラン島で採集したクラゲムシの1種の形態的特徴を観察したところ、東南アジアでは初となるV. multiformisとであることが判明し論文として公表した。
これまでの研究成果をまとめる形で、クラゲ漁業、クラゲ類と共生生物、クラゲ類の飼育・展示に関する報告を行った。
以上、本年度得られた結果について、論文8報、国内外における学会発表14件（うち招待講演8件）等により公表した。
