Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this report, the three activities below were conducted in order to examine class design, class evaluation and class improvement models for classes on fostering the ability to solve lifestyle issues. (1) The current situation and issues surrounding class research were discovered through a survey given to home economics teachers. (2) Class design on fostering the ability to solve lifestyle issues was theorized. (3) Class evaluation was conducted and improvement models were created, and the class was examined empirically through detailed analysis. The results of the evaluation and improvement model suggested that activity based ‘Action Research’ classes are most effective for fostering the ability to solve lifestyle issues.
