Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
(1)The early bird gets up to serve his wife breakfast in bed.--Safian 1967:35の用例を理解するにはWilson & Carston (2006:413) “what makes the resulting interpretation intuitively ‘literal’, ‘approximate’, ‘hyperbolical’ or ‘metaphorical’ is simply the particular set of encyclopaedic assumptions actually deployed in making the utterance relevant in the expected way.”
