| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research was conducted to ascertain effective English instruction methods for improving communication capabilities of science and technology students at Institutes of Technology (Kosen). Based on materials that the author's group developed, students were instructed to produce written and oral presentations of their studies related to science and technology in English. Results demonstrated that the students' practice at organizing their thoughts in English is useful for improving their competence and basic attitudes in science and technology related communication activities.
