Outline of Final Research Achievements

By focusing on the case studies in the expressive activities of young children in France, the United States and Japan, particularly on the practical activities for promoting the mutual understanding between children with disabilities and healthy children, the author of this study developed, implemented and verified the Expressive Education Programs, based on the interchange between formative expressions and music therapy in early childhood education, which had been carried out with the goal to nurture the ability of self expression, the ability to understand and communicate with others in the earliest stage of their group life.
This study was highly acclaimed in the workshops in Japan and the US, as well as in the international symposiums and forums in Japan and France.
