Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Lensless coherent diffractive microsopy has been studied actively during the past decade in the fields of nanostructure imaging with coherent x-ray illumination from synchrotron radiation sources. Recently, we have proposed a novel method of coherent diffractive imaging using a deterministic phase-retrieval method with an aperture-array filter, and then the effectiveness of our method has been demonstrated by the experiments at optical wavelengths. In this study, our method has been improved in order to extend the sphere of its application into the areas of deep-ultraviolet light and x-ray. As a result, the possibility of the atomic-size object reconstruction using our method has been demonstrated in computer simulations, and the effectiveness of our method has been shown in the proof-of-concept expereiment with ultraviolet light illumination from a white light source.
