Outline of Annual Research Achievements

東北大学電子光理学研究センター ELPH の FOREST 電磁カロリメータを用いて震災前に取得したデータの解析を主として行ってきた。重陽子を標的としたコヒーレントなダブル中性パイオン光生成反応での 6 つのクォークあるいは二核子系の共鳴とされるダイバリオン状態の研究が可能であることがわかった。これについての論文執筆を優先した結果、4 月 6 日に Phys. Lett. B 誌に 1 本、掲載が確定した。ドイツの COSY-at-WASA 実験で pn 衝突反応で発見されたΔΔ共鳴と目される d*(2380) 状態は、光生成反応で抑制されており全断面積の上限値が 34 nb であった。一方で、π0dの不変質量におけるピークはしっかり観測されており、新たなダイバリオン状態 (ΔN共鳴?) を示唆する。これについてのレターを準備しているところである。
高励起バリオンの研究についても継続的に行っており、γN'→π0π±N反応でのρNと結合する核子共鳴に関するプリリミナリーな結果を国際会議 INPC で口頭発表を行った。平成 27 年度までに検出器の応答に関する詳細を水素標的の各種反応で調べ、筆頭著者 (責任著者) として執筆した論文が、 Nucl. Instrum. Meth. A 誌に平成 27 年度に 1 本、平成 28 年度に 2 本、掲載された。
FOREST の復旧との新たなγd→pηn 反応によるηn相互作用の研究計画については、平成 28 年度に前方スペクトロメータの設置の設置が完了し、検出器の準備を行っているところである。一部の検出器で行ったテスト実験では、すでにπ+とpの粒子の検出が確認された。
大型放射光施設 SPring-8 における LEPS2 実験では順調にデータ収集が行われた。検出器の基礎的な較正は既に終了しており、物理過程の解析を始めたところである。
