This study examines Panini's Grammar in light of the develpment of Old Indo-Aryan, and focuses on reduplicated present stems taught in Panini's Grammar, which were examined on the basis of linguistic facts in Vedic literature. In this research project, reduplicated present stems arising from application of Panini's grammatical rules were compared with the Vedic reduplicated present formations, and linguistic facts on which Panini's rules were based were elucidated.
