| Research Abstract |
1.「トポロジ-」ワ-クショップ(企画者・森田茂之(東工大)、松本幸夫(東大))が、1990年7月30日〜8月2日、九大において行われた。低次元多様体、基本群の構造、力学系の大域的構造などが議論された。
2.「Zeta Functions in Geometry」研究集会(企画者・砂田利一(名大)、黒川信重(東工大))が、8月14日〜8月18日東工大において行われた。閉塞地線の分布、力学系の数論的類似、スペクトル解析などが討論された。
3.「Lie群の無限次元表現」研究集会(企画者・大島利雄(東大))が、8月30日〜9月3日東大において行われた。
4.「確率論の周辺 III」研究集会(企画者・高橋陽一郎(東大))が、1991年2月4日〜2月6日名大において行われた。非線型方程式の無限次元解析、数値解析などが確率論の手法で展開された。
5.その他、組合せ論研究会(名大、7月)、代数幾何研究会(東京都立大、8月)など、国際数学者会議の前後に、いくつかの小研究会が行われ、多数の研究分担者、及び研究協力者が参加し研究交流があった(京大、名大、東大、九大など)。
6.Advanced Studies in Pure Mathematicsの編集者の研究連絡のための旅費を援助した。その成果として次の1巻が出版された。 Vol.18ーI:Recent topics in differential and analytic geometry,(ed.T.Ochiai),Vol.18ーII:Ka^^¨hler metrics and moduli spaces,(ed.T.Ochiai).なお、Vols.20,21,22は、現在準備中である。
