Research Abstract |
This study aims at grasping the actual state of teaching of "Nihon-jijo" (Japanese State of Affairs)which is a part of foreign students'education in Japan, and attempting to predict future directions. A survey was conducted of all the domestic institutions of higher education in 1992. Based upon the result and analysis of the survey, several discussion meetings were held to get further insight on the teaching of Nihon-jijo. The topics of discussions were the following ; (1)The present state and the problems of Nihon-jijo (2)The ideology of Nihon-jijo (3)Nihon-jijo as an individual field (4)Teaching material, syllabus and teaching method of Nihon-jijo (5)Status of Nihon-jijo and its task. The result of the study is to be published as a report in March, 1994.
