Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, a remote monitoring system which can gather the information about locations and situations of rescue members at the headquarters on the work site is developed in order to enhance the level of safety and work effectiveness of rescue operation in disaster situations. This system with low-power ZigBee wireless communication can construct a wide personal area network without using public commercial lines which often go out of service in disaster situations. Therefore, it can make communication and cover a wide range such as underground or in a tunnel.
