Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Effect of wild-type or dominant negative form of Stat1 on tubule formation of canine renal epithelial cell-derived MDCK cells was examined. Wild-type Stat1 upregulated expression of kidney-specific cadherin 16 and induced formation of rigid and narrow tubule, while dominant negative Stat1-transfectant formed dilated and thin-walled tubule.
