Outline of Final Research Achievements

A large number of papers have shown that fat accumulation and the dysfunction of visceral adipose tissue cause abnormalities in whole body metabolic homeostasis. Recently, we developed a practical in vitro culture system for mesenteric adipocytes. Using the system, specific differentiation mechanisms of in vitro mesenteric adipogenic cells was shown.
