Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Inflammation process following severe subarachnoid hemorrhage may exacerbate neuronal damage. Recent studies have revealed that microglia may play an important role in brain inflammation after cerebral damage, however the role of microglia after subarachnoid hemorrhage is not well understood. The authors have conducted a basic research to figure out whether hypothermia and minocycline which is the suppresive drug of microglia will work against inflammation after subarachnoid hemorrhage.
