Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Endometriosis is a progressive disease that causes infertility and malignant transformation. In this study, we developed a mouse model for endometriosis by implantation of the affected tissues surgically dissected from totally 8 patients into immunodeficient mice. Sarcoma-like tumors were emerged in two out of eight patients.
