Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Diaphragmatic regeneration using umbilical cord blood derived stem cels for diaphragmatic agenesis was attempted using 3 types of different stem cells. Connection of small muscle sphere was not observed. Therefore, we attempted direct conversion from human fibroblast into myoblast using MyoD1 and L-myc gene trasfection as next step. Finally, we obtained multinucleated muscle cells with high efficiency. we perspective function myosheet using this novel technique.
