| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, I have developed my old paper "Quasi-monomial actions and some 4-dimensional rationality problems", A.Hoshi, M.Kang, H.Kitayama, Journal of Algebra, Vol.403, 363-400 (2014), which treated the rationality problem of 2-dimensional purely quasi-monomial actions. I obtained some results on 3-dimensional purely quasi-monomial actions and 2-dimensional quasi-monomial actions.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
有理性問題は、代数幾何学の分野では古くからの主要な研究テーマであり、また、Noether問題と呼ばれるケースではガロアの逆問題の側面からも捉えられている。Noether問題についても様々な研究が知られているが、現在も未解決の問題となっている。このような状況において、今回の研究は、それに関連してquasi-monomialと呼ばれる群の作用による不変体の有理性を調べるものであり、Noether問題はじめ有理性問題全般としての意義がある。
